⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 'We Solve Murders' by Richard Osman is the beginning of a new series and it is a great read.
Steve Wheeler is retried and runs a low key detective agency from the a sleepy village. He loves nothing more than a pint and the pub quiz.
Steve's daughter-in-law is Amy and she works for a close protection agency and jets around the world. She is currently protecting multi-selling author Rosie D'Antonio.
Things take a drastic turn though and Amy needs to call on the one person she trusts; Steve.
This novel is a great introduction to the characters and has all the great writing style that Richard Osman fans have come to love. You will not be disappointed that this does not feature our favourite sleuths from Cooper's Chase as it brings a load more characters to love.
The story has Richard Osman's characteristic humour along with a great story and it keeps you guessing all the way through.
Great story and great characters and I look forward to more!
