This can be read as a standalone novel.
Clarisse Garcia is a spirit hunter and has overcome evil many times but this time has she gotten into something she cannot overcome.
Clarisse is called to an old haunted hospital and in particular the maternity ward. There are many infant spirits present, but why are they there and why can't they rest?
Clarisse is due to have a child herself and this fight against evil may well put her unborn child at risk.
A well told story and truly chilling; it will stay with you for a long time after you have finished it.
