‘The Dust of Melita’ Clare Hawkins

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'The Dust of Melita' by Clare Hawkins is a compelling historical fiction novel that is a great read.

It tells the story of Frank Nixon, a 19-year-old army private, who finds himself serving in Malta in 1940. Frank is a character that is well described and you go on his journey with him.

The story is well plotted and who want to read on to find out what happens. The narrative style is great for the subject matter.

This book is so well researched and it takes you through the history of Malta during World War Two. It also looks at other conflicts and it is clear that he author has taken time to get to know the subject matter.

The subject matter is complex and harrowing but is dealt with sensitively.

Recommended to fans of historical fiction or anyone who loves to read a good story.

Thanks to the author and publisher for letting me join this great Blog Tour and read and review the book.
