⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'Obsessed' by Liza North is an absolute rollercoaster of a thriller that keeps you on edge all the way through.
Laura lives in Edinburgh with her husband and two children. She has secrets in her past but is attempting to live the best life she can. A person from her past reappears in her life, Alexis and she begins an obsessive affair with him. Alexis is then found dead and everything falls down around Laura.
This novel tells its story through Laura now and Laura before Alexis was found dead. There is also narrative from Hope who is a friend Laura had when she was at school. There is also another character who you don't find out the identity of until the end.
You go through so many emotions with these characters from anger to pity and lots in between and they are so well described.
The plot in ingenious and will leave the reader guessing until the very end and I very much did not know what was going to happen or who had killed Alexis.
This is an amazing debut novel and is highly recommended to fans of thrillers and books that keep your attention.
