Straight-laced and content with the comforts of his home on politically-neutral Neo-Yuthea, Albert Smith leads a quiet and unremarkable life.
His days are filled with sipping tea with his beloved wife and tending to his cherished garden-a picture of tranquillity in an otherwise chaotic universe.
Little does he know that destiny has extraordinary plans in store for him.
This book is fast paced and grips you straight away.
The story line is incredibly detailed but you are able to follow and you soon get hooked.
The characters are a delight and are very well written that you can visualise them.
There are some strong themes that run through this novel.
Highly recommended and I look forward to more from this author!
