‘Knife Skills for Beginners’ Orlando Murrin

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'Knife Skills for Beginners' by Orlando Murrin is a great first novel by the food writer.

This is a cosy crime set in the background of a cooking school and everything is not as you would expect!

"When chef Paul Delamare agrees to help his old friend Christian by teaching at an exclusive residential cookery school in Belgravia, the only thing he expects his students to murder is his taste buds. But on the first night, the unthinkable someone turns up dead."

This debut novel is well written and there are lots of twists and turns in the plot that keep you want to keep reading on.

The characters are well described and there are a range of unusual ones in this tale.

A great first novel for cosy crime fans and very readable.

I was lucky enough to get a copy of this at the Harrogate Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival. Thanks to author and publisher for a copy of this book.
