⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'In the Blink of an Eye' by Jo Callaghan is one of my best books of 2023.
This book tells the tale of DCS Kat Frank and her return to work after the sad death of her husband.
Kat has an 18 year old son and is also dealing with her son's grief.
Kat returns to work in a project where she is partnered with a AI Detective in a trial programme to see AI would really be better used than humans in detective work.
This book is an addictive read, and you really don't want to put it down, so expect some insomnia.
Believable and well developed characters that you invest in as you read.
This book is an original and sits in a genre of its own, mixing crime thriller with science fiction.
Very recommended and I am sure there will be future more great novels from this author.
