⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ‘Dead Man Driving’ by Lesley Kelly is a book that will grip you straight away and make you want to read on.
Its of a series called ‘A Health of Strangers’ but can be read as a standalone novel.
“Two years on from the start of a devastating pandemic, food shortages are becoming critical, and rationing looms. So it's more than embarrassing when a lorry full of luxury food for Scottish Virus Minister's banquet goes missing. When Bernard and Maitland from the HET team find it, the food is missing – but there is a dead body.”
After being immediately drawn into the story, this thriller will take you on lots of twists and turns until you finish the story.
The narrative is compelling and the environment well described.
A really well written book and highly recommended!
Thanks to author and publisher for allowing me to read in return for a review.
