‘City on Fire’ Graham Bartlett

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'City on Fire' by Graham Bartlett is the third in the Jo Howe series but can be read as a standalone novel.

This crime novel is a police procedural story at its best.

"After losing her sister to a drug overdose, Chief Superintendent Jo Howe is desperate to tackle the world of drugs that consumes the shadowy backstreets of Brighton. Operation Eradicate is her response, deploying undercover tactics to collapse drug circles while also providing treatment services to victims of drug abuse. But not everyone sees this as a positive development."

This book grips you from page one and if like me you have not read any others in the series you will be reaching for the rest of them.

The story is well plotted with lots of action and twists and turns that keep you hooked.

The characters are great and you feel invested in what happenes.

An absolute gripping and delightful book to read.

Highly recommended.

Thanks to the author and publisher in allowing me to read in return for a review.
