⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'A Dangerous Fossil' by John Delaney is truly a new voice in mystery stories.
Jemma Thorne is a lecturer and also works in a museum. Her love is finding fossils and the story starts with her discovering the find of her career. However, it is not just Jemma who wants this discovery and some people will go to drastic lengths to get their hands on it which puts Jemma's loved ones in danger.
Jemma also has a past that haunts her and with the frightening events that happen in her Dorset town, this also lurks in the background to cause her distress.
This story is well written and truly gripping. It is an original take on a mystery novel.
The character and story line make you invested in the book and it is a great read.
Looking forward to more books in this series as I am sure there will be more.
